〔自由時報記者王昶閔／台北報導〕機車族注意！動物研究顯示，機車所排放的大量廢氣，可能會破壞男性睪丸功能、減少精蟲量，並使女方受孕後的流產率提高，提醒機車族戴活性碳口罩以過濾廢氣，同時每天吃一顆綜合維他命，以捍衛自己的生育能力。
傷睪丸功能 女方流產率提高
台灣機車超過一千萬輛，每天產生的廢氣排放量也極為可觀，台大醫學院團隊以公鼠進行對照研究，實驗組公鼠早晚各吸一次高量機車廢氣，連續一個月後發現，公鼠的睪丸組織遭破壞、精蟲量減少，論文已發表在知名的「毒物學雜誌」。
台大醫院婦產部生殖內分泌科主任陳思原表示，吸入廢氣的實驗組公鼠，不但睪丸組織遭到破壞，每公克睪丸組織精蟲量，從三千八百萬隻遽降到一千八百萬隻，公鼠的生育能力也遭到實質破壞。
研究顯示，這批公鼠受孕能力從八十二％降為六十二％，降低兩成。同時可能因精蟲品質不佳，好不容易受孕的母鼠，流產率也增加兩到三倍，從十二％提高到三十九％。
陳思原指出，機車廢氣中所含的苯、   等有害物質，可能是造成老鼠不孕的主因，但研究也發現，公鼠在吸入廢氣的同時，若補充具有抗氧化能力的維他命Ｅ，睪丸組織每公克精蟲量，則可以維持在三千萬隻。
機車族不妨配戴活性碳口罩
陳思原建議，機車族不妨配戴活性碳口罩，並且每天服用一顆綜合維他命，可降低廢氣對生殖能力的危害。未來則應推廣電動機車取代現有機車，以減少對環境的污染與整體廢氣排放量。
