冷鋒即將來襲，天氣會變得又濕又冷，許多人咳嗽症狀加重，中醫師廖婉絨說，咳嗽可分為寒咳、熱咳，寒咳多為著涼、受風寒引起，會有流鼻水、乾咳、透明或白色痰；熱咳則常伴隨發炎、感染症狀，會有喉嚨紅腫、發癢、疼痛，有黃綠色濃痰等。寒咳、熱咳成因不同，可依照不同症狀，選擇適合的中藥茶飲舒緩。

                                                                                                                                             廖婉絨中醫師說，寒咳、熱咳治療法不同，除了從痰色及發炎情況分辨，寒咳在著涼或身體虛寒時發生，除了咳嗽，還常伴隨頻尿、腹瀉；熱咳常是發炎、上火引起，會有小便黃濁、便祕等症狀。廖婉絨中醫師說，無論是何種類型咳嗽，即使有在服西藥，也可在有症狀時，喝以下中藥茶飲緩解，茶飲做法為將材料裝入濾袋後，放入保溫杯再加入600c.c.熱水，燜泡10至15分鐘後即可飲用，材料可重複回沖2至3次，一天可喝2至3杯。

桂枝紫蘇茶
材料：桂枝2錢、紫蘇葉1錢、生薑3片、去籽紅棗5顆。
功效：袪風散寒止咳。桂枝可以發汗、溫經通絡；紫蘇葉袪風散寒，鎮咳利尿；生薑驅寒、發汗；紅棗調養氣血。
